Double R Studio

Based in New York, Double R Studio is a contemporary art and design company inspired by organic shapes, Chinese landscape painting, and the beauty of new forms. Founder and Creative Director Rosa Ruey translates her passion for imaginative living into her beautiful hand drawn wallpaper designs.

Using elements from her artwork as source material, Rosa creates unique wallpaper that is luxurious and eco-friendly. Double R Studio's inaugural line, the Garden Collection, was created by cultivating her fluid style, capturing her strong sense of color and translating that into lush and uplifting wallpapers. Rosa’s artistic vision is influenced by Paul Klee's quote, "A drawing is simply a line going for a walk". With her wallpaper that walk is now a journey that can be brought from her hand to your home.

Rosa graduated with an MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art in London and currently shows withMasters & Pelavin and Muriel Guepin Gallery in New York. Her artwork is in private collections as well as two public collections, Ernst & Young and The Wonderful Fund. She has been included in exhibitions in England, Morocco, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Taiwan and New York.

Because she believes that art is to be enjoyed every day and appreciated by many she has created a home décor line that is a work of art.
