Erik Gutter has been working as an independent designer, stylist and decorator since 1994. In 2009 "Studio Erik Gutter", a design studio and interior design shop, opened its doors in Blaricum, Holland. His background being flora, he always applies plants in his interiors since he sees this as an indispensable part, preferably unknown sculptural plants, as a special object. Thinking back to his childhood an image of windows to which weeds or plants were stuck due to condensation or water pops up. It would look as if they would literally bloom through the glass.
